Privacy policy

Housecloud Access is a private application used by the members of one household. It is not offered to the public and has no users outside that household.
What it accesses
With the explicit consent of the account holder, and only after they approve it on Google's own consent screen, Housecloud Access requests:
- Gmail — to read, organise, draft and send mail on the account holder's behalf, and to read and adjust basic mail settings
- Google Calendar — to read, create and change events
- Google Drive — limited to files the application itself creates, or files the account holder specifically opens with it
It requests nothing beyond these. It cannot browse a Drive it was not pointed at, and it cannot create or share calendars.
How the information is handled
- Data is processed on private servers operated by the household. It is not hosted with, or handed to, any third-party service.
- It is never sold, rented, published, or used for advertising. There is no analytics or tracking of any kind.
- Nothing is shared with anyone outside the household, except where the account holder directs an action that does so — sending a message they asked to send, for example.
- Access credentials are stored encrypted, are readable only by the service that needs them, and are never transmitted off our systems.
- Content is kept only as long as it is needed for the task at hand and for the assistant's working history. An account holder can ask for their history to be deleted at any time.
Limited Use
Housecloud Access's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is never used to train generalised artificial-intelligence models, and is never transferred except as described above.
Withdrawing access
Any account holder can revoke this application's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking takes effect immediately. On request, any stored copy of their data is deleted.
